Sprinterview ("Sprinterview," "we," "us") operates the weekly professional networking marketplace where relationships create career opportunities. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — including when you sign in with LinkedIn.

1. What We Collect

Depending on how you use Sprinterview, we collect:

• Account information you provide directly (email, name, password if you sign up without an OAuth provider).
• Profile information you add (headline, industry, seniority, location, career goals, LinkedIn URL).
• Event activity (registrations, attendance, connections made through Networking Sprints).
• Payment information processed by Stripe (we do not store your card details ourselves).
• Basic usage data (pages visited, device/browser type) for security and product improvement.

2. Data Accessed Through LinkedIn Sign-In

LinkedIn Sign-In is optional — you can also create a Sprinterview account with just an email address and password. If you choose to sign in with LinkedIn, we request only the minimum permissions needed for authentication and profile setup convenience:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your profile photo (if available)

This data is used only to create your Sprinterview account and pre-fill your profile — it speeds up onboarding so you don't have to re-type information LinkedIn already has. We do not request or access your LinkedIn connections, messages, posts, or activity feed, and LinkedIn Sign-In does not give us ongoing access to your LinkedIn account after your initial sign-in.

We do not scrape LinkedIn. We do not import your LinkedIn network, connections, or any data beyond what you explicitly authorize during sign-in through LinkedIn's own consent screen.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To create and maintain your account
• To let you discover, register for, and attend Networking Sprints
• To send you relevant emails (confirmations, reminders, and — if you don't opt out — our weekly digest of upcoming Sprints)
• To give recruiters visibility into your profile only if you've opted in (open_to_recruiters) and only for events you actually attended
• To process payments for paid events or recruiter subscriptions
• To maintain the security and integrity of the platform

4. What We Don't Do

• We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
• We do not scrape LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, or any other platform.
• We do not give recruiters unrestricted access to a searchable database of all users — recruiter access is limited to attendees of events they're associated with, and only for users who've opted in.
• We do not post on your behalf on LinkedIn or any other platform.

5. Third-Party Services

We work with a small number of service providers to operate Sprinterview:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — transactional and marketing email delivery
• Meetaway — live video networking sessions during events
• LinkedIn — optional sign-in authentication

Each provider only receives the data necessary to perform its function and is contractually restricted from using your data for its own purposes.

6. Your Rights

You can, at any time:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information via your profile settings
• Opt out of recruiter visibility (open_to_recruiters) at any time
• Unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in any email
• Request deletion of your account and associated data

To request access, correction, or deletion of your data, email privacy@sprinterview.co. We will respond within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your profile and personal identifiers; anonymized event/attendance statistics may be retained for platform analytics.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, tax, or fraud- prevention purposes.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as Sprinterview evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email or an in-app notice before they take effect.
